On the way we make many stops in order to get some neat photos, like at the salt lake (which is just a vast land mass full of salt).
The Eagles here are massive.
Our underground hostel.

Now, this next part is the highlight of the tour for me. We went to a kangaroo orphanage. This is a magical place. The man who works here takes in little tiny Joey's and dedicates his life to raising them. There are Aboriginals in the area that hunt and eat kangaroo, and from time to time they will kill a mom, without knowing. Then they will take the Joey to this wonderful place to be taken care of. I can say confidently that the man that works here is a current idol of mine.
Kangaroos have two sets of ears, one on their head, and one in their feet.

Kissing Kangaroos!!!
Now we settled down with some beverages in order to enjoy the sunset together. At this point I'm extremely over whelmed, I've come to a lot of conclusions about myself already. I want to stay in Coober Pedy for longer, but there is more to see. You cannot get too comfortable in one place, it's dangerous. If I were to stay where I was comfortable, I would still be in Canada, if not Canada at least Melbourne.
Night 2: Let party again, shall we?
It's what we do best.
The Emus <3
Tom shows us some new constellations, and gives us a breakdown of how lightyears work.
And we end the night with yet another subwoofer pumped magical bus party. Thanks goodness.
